So it may or may not be of interest but I get to try the demos at work and thought I'd share here . The super duke I've already posted but yesterday I had the 790 adventure.
Not my cup of tea but dam usefull. Nice in traffic seat a bit harsh id opt for the ergo power parts one. Screen too low for my 6.2 just caused loads of buffering to my lid. Worse than my rr4 with its double bobble screen . Has a little ten mins down a green lane and it felt bike but not massive work just fun really but you wouldn't do it regular . Handguards a bit close for my hands but otherwise good for what it is.
Today's KTM is the 790 Duke. What a fun bike. I really like it. Bars a little tip up at the ends for me I'd change them exhaust doesn't look nice but sounds great especially on overrun. The accessory provic isn't louder just nicer to look at . I'd have it though. You could honestly use this to Commute on and have fun on track with it . She loves to pull up her skirts and bookie. Front end gets a little have as you accelerate hard but that's more my 15 stone 6.2 frame hammering the shock I think.
701 husky vitplien the last couple of days. It is good in town and happy on a little country lane bumble but I would not want to do huge miles in one stint . Seat is a bit of a plank to be fair. It was fun chucking it about and it has plenty of poke for its weight. Hate that rear number plate set up.
I think it needs a stupid name to apeal to the hipster types who its aimed at just like all this dead grandpa badger shoe ipa beer they all love paying a fortune for.
1290 super adventure s. Great big comfy quick sofa. This thing loves to be on its ear it odd just loves to be chucked about. Soon on comfy. I now understand the apeal of this bikes thought they were for hairy biker wanna bes and long way down fans but I'm enjoying it. Could not be my only bike though. And dam its heavy from what I'm used to. Great dash electric suspending brakes good can sounds nice.
