"Hello Nigel, From 28 July 2019, your BT Sport and TV price will increase. We've put the changes in a simple table below for you." An extra fiver per month, and this is after recent phone and rental increases. Will definitely shop around come renewal time. Currently spending £90 per month on phone (which includes £8 'family rate for overseas calls) , broadband, and mobile. Virgin seems to be a big player at the mo, but didn't a member recently have probs with the big V?
Nah, I remember most things, especially rants!! Didn't want to put you out there in case Virgin had responded with a super deal and you now love them.
It's just another one of the merry go rounds you have to ride to not get ripped off. BT are trying to use BT Sport as a means to retain customers by making it so expensive to get if not with them for Broadband etc. Think they are losing the plot though by raising the price to the point where that stops being a consideration I keep seeing Sky sponsorship and logo on MotoGP weekends and am hoping they pick it up at the next round of negotiations.
I've said it before on here...ditch BT and use the power of the internet. I subscibe to a VPN and have an IPTV subscription with which I have all BT and SKY channels plus a shed load of On Demand films, international TV etc. Additionally I use Torrent sites/client for GP's etc I have missed and all UFC events (which are broadcast at silly o'clock) NOTE: both of these are widely reported as being "illegal" ....however anyone with a Fireblade will be well used to operating outside of legal boundaries from time to time I am sure of that! BT have screwed themselves with the billions (literally) that they spent on football, they've got to claw it back from someone
Yep, Sky would be the ultimate for me so I can then get F1 as well. BT was going to charge me £30 a month for the Sky Extra add-on, even when I was already a customer. Only problem for me is that Ihate Sky dishes. It's like having 'bar end' mirrors hanging off your roof!
I bought the MotoGP season pass package / app and it is brilliant.. it is expensive at about £200 pa (of the top of my head) but you do get a lot for your money. In an ideal world I’d love to have Sky and BT Sports but with a young daughter I just dont get the chance to watch sports. The GP app is great - watching FP at work on a Friday morning is great. I do miss Neil Hodgson and Colin Edwards mind! Talking of BT sport - this was good -
