can anyone tell me if i can use car coolant in my bike without doing any damage? only asking as bike seemed to be running pretty hot on the way home and once back in the garage (hot and cold) the xpansion bottle at the back wheel is showing empty(is that right?)
can i just top it up or will it need bleeding again? sorry for so many questions but need the bike in the morning

    cheers

Long as there's water still in the main water tank you can top it up, if the tanks empty it would most likely need bleeding

Long as there's plenty in there it would be fine for a small top up with plain water

your bike needs the proper coolent Honda OEM is not out of the way expensive. it is something to do with the silicates or something being abrasive and wearing the seals
