I needed my old Astar's one piece altered and the usual lady isn't doing big alterations anymore so I was recommended a local lady called Debbie from Sheffield.
She visits SMC Sheffield and the J&S at Doncaster on alternate Sundays.
I took my suit down and she measured up and it needed 4" and a 3" out of height back and bum so not a small job.
She then rough sewed it and I went back tried it on and it was perfect.
Collected yesterday and it was £70 which is bloody good!
She gives an estimate at first measure up. And the rough sew if it's needed is great to see if it's ok or needs further adjustment.
Obviously a very busy time of year for these guys and my suit was 7wk turn around but that's always been the case with the other firms I've had in the past unless you drop out of season.
She's a really lovely lady too.
So...just wanted to recommend her :)

    Great price, Loz.

I had the neck lowered on a jacket (was lifting the helmet) and got slugged £40 in Worcester. Sounds like you've made a good find!
