Well, I run this channel 4 and half years ago. Got no intention of becoming an Youtuber nor a Motovlogger, but since I ride to commute to work every day, I see a lot of strange/stupid things, and... this is what this channel is for, sharing those situations, even the ones "created" be me. Feel free to see the older videos, for now, I'll just post the latest, happened 30m ago. So I noticed the guy in the Smart had an almost flat front right tire, so I tried to warn him... Don't know what that guy thought I wanted, but he kept swerving to the middle of the road every time I tried to get along side him...
My feeling is that many motorists feel threatened by motorcyclists, especially those in BLACK leathers. I guess the number '13' might also be a blight on those who are superstitious!
I'd have left him be.......it looked like you were putting yourself at the mercy of on coming traffic and it was an unnecessary distraction, you'll end up on the deck again! I get why you did it though, I do it myself, it's because we have a conscience. But not when I'm on the bike!
As said already, i’d of left him/her alone some drivers misunderstand someone giving warnings to them and feel threatened and decide to drive like idiots. I had such an incident when a car full of kids in the back with the back door not closed properly. I pulled up to the drivers side and pointed to the door and shouted to the driver. The bitch then tried ramming me! Tried one more time because of the kids but to no avail.
Two "episodes" today... #1 - It's not noticeable in the video, but front tire actually slid a bit in the first moments... #2 - I blame it on drugs. Was coming from a dentist appointment, and almost failed to see that Audi coming. Almost dropped the bike.
Not really noticeable in the video, but she was changing lane like I was not even there. Had I not revved, I would most likely gone down.
Bloody heck @F1CT1C10U5 . Another one? Most of your videos are your fault because you ride so aggressively without any anticipation for what might happen ahead. Sure, the driver in this didn't indicate, but as riders I firmly believe we have to 'expect the unexpected'. You do have good reaction times though.
That proves the merit of cams not only helping the owner but also being able to prove incidents for third parties. The other rider was certainly lucky (and skilled) to avoid what could have been a serious incident.
After an uneventful last 3 months... 2 days, 2 new videos... Went for a quick exam at the hospital near my workplace (500m or so), so I took no equipment at all, only helmet... Almost crashed leaving... At least I was at the hospital's door! Lane splitting at low speed when a car door opens. According to Portuguese law, I was 100% to blame
