Hi I'm a newbie to the forum. I have an RR 07 Fireblade and I'm hoping to tour but need panniers/luggage. Any recommendations. I will be riding with a pillion.

    Hi & welcome :)
If you specifically wanted panniers I can recommend Motech Blaze.
I got these for my 11 plate but they fit my 2016 as well. Hold loads and very stable. They do them for all years. I've toured with mine and they still look like new, excellent quality.

Many thanks they look great. I have seen these on the Internet but couldn't figure out if they would interfere with the pillions riding boots. Any thoughts?

Is the pillion seat/pegs still usable with that system Lozzy? Waaay better than a backpack for big miles.

Ahh I never had a pillion on so not sure...maybe if you Google Motech reviews/pillions specific for sports bike it may give you an idea...other than that I can refit my pegs and pop it on the black one tomorrow and have a look for you

You'll need a rack to mount it further back. You can't beat a good one ;)

There is always the possibility of a ventura kit, which is perfectly usable with a pillion, just turn the bag the other way around. 20190603_143147_compress45.jpg

I love my RR7 but why on earth would you want to tour - with a pillion - on one? :) She's going to hate you after about 15 minutes...!

Only looking to travel appropriately 250 miles a day and we can manage that quite easily. Also can’t find a sports tourer that we both like!

Hi and welcome to the forum, I like your enthusiasm but touring on a blade, with luggage and a pillion??!!!

I'd be looking at a different bike pal, its a sports bike, stick your leathers on and maybe a bum bag and go.......oh and remove the pillion pegs, seat and tell the wife........ NO!!!! ;):D
