Some boring stuff about Luggage !!

I have Kriega US 20 & 2 x US10 drypacks, I had a fixing kit on the 1299, but it seems there is not such kit for MY17-19 Blades, so does anyone else use Kriega if so where or how do you secure using the universal straps

Or which other luggage packs do you use like Ventura etc ?

Blonde moment I guess, got 4 of these straps with each bag !!
But tbh even on the Ducati with the proper fitting kit they don't half move around.

I’m not sure of the exact restriction on both the SPs but it is quite small about 5kg. It has a lightened subframe for its out standing racing abilities. Although some contributors on here have loaded their bike as normal with no apparent issues.

When I first got my bike the luggage I used on the 13 would not fit (whoppa) so I borrowed my mates US30.
Fitting was OK using the standard straps but the rearmost straps both had to be secured to the nearside frame.
I was pleased with the pack and took some pics so I could remember how I fitted it.
I mounted the pack so the opening was at the back of the bike.
I have now got one of my own and will be using it for a trip through the Black forest and route Napoleon in a couple of weeks.
Pics below and yes I may have gone overboard with the insulation tape for protection but better safe than sorry.

If you do get a hepco. Bear in mind it uses up half of your weight allowance on its own. But I won’t let that bother me if/when I get to play in Spain again.

+1 for the Hepco & Becker plate. Quality bit of kit but pricey as mentioned.

I loaded up 60l worth of Kriega (1xUS30, 1xUS20, 2xUS5) onto it in May for a week's trip to Germany. Well over the stated "max weight" and no problems at all. Even stood up to Autobahn speeds too!

Here's it loaded up on the shuttle

Trip to the dentist without anesthetic comes to mind..

I've got a ZZR Performance Sport with full luggage for me an the Mrs, which imho is immense for 2 up touring, only thing it lacks in a quickshift
