The McGuinness and Dunlop ones were both good, the Hutchy book was ok but perhaps not as good as the other 2. Have to say for an easy fun read all of Guy Martin's are decent. Steve Parish is next on my list.
Steve Parish seems to be on the next list to buy, along with Niall Mckenzie, met him when I was a lad, really nice bloke. The foggy one I found reasonable, read it before I met him and realised how arrogant he is! Did anyone see the pre tt shows this year, the one about foggy and hizzy, I found him incredibly arrogant in that too; but I guess that’s his style and attitude that got him the 4 Superbikes championships!
The few racers I've met have mostly been extremely arrogant, with the exception of Nicky Hayden. He was a proper gentleman and you felt like if he wasn't being pulled to do something else by his handlers, he would have sat with you all day talking about anything and everything.
I really enjoyed Michael Dunlop's book because the turn of phrase used is just like he sounds in real life - that thick Northern Irish accent. I could just imagine him speaking as I read the words - really well done. Hutcinson's book I did not get on with, because the turn of phrase just did not sound like him. "Feel: My Story " by fast Freddie Spencer was good read. Some insider detail of the racing at that time, and his personal story. Enjoyed that one. He seems a really nice guy.
