Hmm. Now that depends upon who is writing those those words!! In this situation though, the famed quote of 'A picture is worth a thousand words' does apply. I have found the Fowlers site to be particularly useful. Whilst we can not determine the exact location of the required 'castle nuts', a scan through this site should prove rewarding: https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/4819490/cbr1000rr7-2007-ed/crankcase
Yess I really need to look up how to I will be getting on the computer on my day off . .. I usually work around and when I post I am so tired and stressed that I expect everyone to understand my broken english .. )
Nah . I am not english . But anyhow.. ended up buying a cranck with the conrods off a brakedown company based in Bristol. Which is worse than mine upon inspection . Lol 250£ dad I have to chase to get back ... I am done .. I will be selling the bike and the engine as a whole for a project . I will put the money into getting a new bike . Its impossible to get decent parts for it . Spent 750£ and done nothing towards restoring it . If you know anyone that wants it . I am based in Somerset due to the size it will have to be collection the engine is in boxes other than that there is no problem with frame or bodywork .
The other money were spent on moving the engine and bike about . And than fault finding in the engine . As I loved the bike and I do have the money to fix it .. I just think it's too much hassle
