It tells us to "Hold small children". If I hold small children during a cougar attack am I supposed to throw the small children to the cougar to keep them busy as I scamper off? Sound advice that.
I'll be helping my brother out on the Shad luggage stand there over both weekends and maybe a bit of the week too. Also want to pick myself up some new leathers whilst I'm there. It may not be what it used to but there's still plenty to see and poke there. Anyway, if you're passing the stand say hi!
Looking forward to seeing the Duc V4 naked, new Speed & Street trip, new Thruxton RS, Speed twin and the 2020 blade. Rooms full of thousands of bikes....what's not to like. I went to the cycle show at the NEC last month, dear god that was bad. No trade stands, lots of big manufacturers missing, never ever again.

Because I'm only two years into my 'comeback' on bikes, and only been to NEC in 2017 and 18, I'm interested to know what's missing? What did it used to be like?
It used to be great, giveaways, really cheap deals, went home always with a bargain, now it's just the same prices you can find on the internet apart from a few gems
Used to be in 5 halls, loads of small/smaller traders, lots of dolly birds, and some absolute bargains to be had. First year I went was 2008, ended up going twice that year!
Funny you mention that. I was licking the visor of my new helmet I bought from @PauloHRC , just to clean it mind you, and chanced upon a couple of errant hairs. I'm truly hoping he hadn't been up to funny business. After all the posts about 'Garstang' I'm just a little concerned
Hmm, 'dead' hairs...need to get the Dettol out and shake a bottle of TCP over it at the same time You could always use some Hydrogen Peroxide if you wanted them blonde
Me an some mates going on Thursday 21st. Hoping to get a bargain on a Warrior stand. Possibly a new helmet. Only been riding for a year so have all that excitement still.
BTW Does anyone know if the Warrior stand will fit a 2018 blade? The DT website says it wont but are the bikes that different between models?
