got the street hooks back from having the anodise stripped this morning. Now debating whether to fettle the imperfections on this set OR machine my own set. I don’t think I’ll make any to sell as tbh I can’t be bothered at the minute (lol).

Still wondering with regards to colour choice. I’m thinking titanium but does anyone have any other ideas?

I'd go for titanium. The ones I got from someone on here were that and I just had them done black by a local firm...only cost a few quid. They've stood up to it well.

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking tbh I won’t ever have the pegs on, or use the hooks lol. I may make a cover with HRC engraved in to cover the peg holes once on the bike

I'd go silver powdercoat to key in with the subframe.

Fairly lucky in this case my neighbours are bloody nosey.

Most people in my village have reported them and a guy is apparently following them in his car until the police find time to roll up.

sometimes living with the older generation has its benefits - perhaps why I wasn’t scared off of this forum; I’m used to it :D

anyway, need to consider more security now. One thing I’ve found with my experience and not sure if people have the same or conflicting views, if I declare I use a lock on my insurance, the premium doesn’t reduce much BUT if I don’t lock my bike and it’s nicked they won’t pay out, for that reason I never declare security other than HISS and lock it when I feel necessary, because more times than not I forget to. What’s your opinions/favoured security measures?

Been busy today working with my hands, and now my right arm is sore, it’s all in the wrist - no, not that! Rubbing the street hooks down and giving them a slight polish ready for the anodisers. They aren’t perfect, but then most of it isn’t visible and they will be used, as they aren’t being hard anodised Mark’s will occur anyway.

Anyway, crap picture but you get the idea

A good scotch bright pad for a nice satin finish would look good on them mate.

Well it may not seem like much but i dragged myself out of the igloo and managed to lube my chain with the trusty Wurth. It sucks living in the Arctic circle! :(

Just ordered two new 500ml cans of Wurth from Amazon - £17.99 which is a MASSIVE saving of £2.01 over buying from Sportsbikeshop

Still 'Wurth' it, nevertheless. Whoops, sorry. I'll go.:(

I made a mistake it was actually £17.89 so the savings are actually a colossal £2.11

That discount is only for clothing/helmets..no?
