Got the street hooks off to the anodisers today, so should have them back next week to be fitted :)!

Whilst I was a bit bored this afternoon decided to make a dog tag for my friends dog (one of my dogs puppies from a previous litter) so knocked this up out of some brass (my little pippin has one too) which got me thinking; brass chain guard?! Would it look good? Worth a try? What’s your thoughts of brass on a bike? 8EF991BF-4A0F-45F9-B48C-4ED6C5E07DDA.jpeg

Love the dog tag ....but brass on a bike may bring back horrific memories for the older members of their parents fireside collections of kettles/pokers/horse brasses.....oh...and coal scuttles if tha were posh like us

Gave mine a wash today, panicked because i thought it had a coolant leak, but turned out to just be washing water evaporating dramatically off the radiator

Fitted the ground anchor in the garage and then chained the old girl up. Did some work on the Zephyr too, pulled the tank off and some other parts to clean down and reinstate. Need to order new plugs, oil, filter and chain and sprocket set for that too. Also patiently waiting for my racefit and the hooks to be back from the anodisers so I can strip the rear end of the blade and get rid of the fugly tail
