    Hello,

Just recently got the Fireblade 2011 model ABS.

It has an annoying noise coming from what I think is the clutch area.

So bike sitting in neutral the noise will only happen if you rev it above 3-4k revs and when it drops below ~1.5k it stops.

When driving it only kicks on when I accelerate above 4k and is still there until about 6-7k then I can't really hear it.

It sounds like a fan that's rubbing on somthing but obviously from clutch. I can't feel vibration from the clutch case during this.

The noise goes away immediately when the clutch is pulled in...

    Any thoughts?

Sounds like the cam chain tensioner to me.

On a closer listen it does sound above the clutch, CCT a big thing to switch out?

Depends on how mechanical you are. There was a thread a short while ago about changing it so have a quick search for that.
I got my local bike shop to change mine for about £110.
