This is an old one, the latest and greatest are matrix LED displays, the same as you see used as advertising signs at motorway services etc.

Deliver shopping for Waitrose. Brilliant little job. I’m my own boss, drive around the beautiful countryside. Deliver to some great customers in amazing properties. Plus I get to listen to Ken Bruce every day. 1030 pop master 1140 tracks of my years.

I was a time served Lithographic Printer / Digital Print Manager / Prinect Workflow an industry 4.0 specialist, 70 + hours an often working right through the night. Alas our family company shut last year due to some big contracts going abroad / to some of the printers that are owned by euro companies.

Had a few job offers but the contracts were meh.

So currently taking a 2 year break to sus out the next move got some big plans for next year which should set the future up nicely. Before the Print I did Wildlife Photography pro that was quite interesting won a few awards etc.

It's a shame to see so many cool industries going by the wayside I'd love to do something with my hands rather than staring at a mac all day.

Just taking an enforced break after 42 years thanks to my bruised melon received in May whilst on holiday, may be able to do some work next year but now realising a 7 day a week, on call 24 x 7 job really might have filled the bank coffers but actually now realise it wasn’t that important after all.
So my friends on the friendliest forum, I am back driving cars after getting my licence back this month, but gonna leave bike riding to the spring, and hopefully will be fit enough to ride then.
It’s funny how sometimes you need to be knocked off your pedestal to see the light, as I am volunteering at a dog rescue centre a couple of days a week, as my mates enjoy reminding me, captain of industry to s*it shoveler in one easy fall. :D
