I was so close, @Mattie660 , sort of like the moment we're shuddering with indecision about whether to withdraw or not. We leave it until the last moment and then think, 'What the heck, just do it'. To make this clear, I'm talking about withdrawing a huge wad of money from the bank. Like I have said, it feels much better than the Honda but the 'brand loyalty' won me over in the end.
Well tbh I just had a great day with mates drooling over what I can't currently afford. Loved the new Fireblade. loved the MV Agusta Rush 1000. Was disappointed thee only bike stand company there was Abba. Was hoping to get a deal on a Warrior spider.
So was I!! I couldn't find Warrior anywhere, and wasn't going to shell out five quid or whatever for a program! ABBA is good (I have one) but the price, portability and simplicity of Warrior seems unbeatable. Perhaps we should check if there's any Black Friday deals on them!
Good idea. I'll feed back here if I find anything. Did you see that Abba were offering the complete Skylift for £395. I was sorely tempted but reasoned I dont really have the space for it.
I think £395 is expensive; more so when we already have the Superbike stand which is NOT compatible with the Skylift, so you end up paying for stuff you already have!

First, a 2018 vehicle would need very little preparation, but nevertheless, this is accounted for in the trade-in value of the bike, or, accounted for in the retail markup. the thing is, as Nigel has suggested these fees are included in the price anyway, you wouldn’t have a builder quote £200 a day and then £50 to drive to site would you. I’ve never and will never pay the admin fee. It’s a deal breaker for me. The best one I had was years ago at the garage I referenced in the other thread asking for £50 to tax and clean the vehicle- (I had to pay the tax fee) and put £25 worth of fuel in. So I said I’m effectively paying £50 for £25 worth of fuel.... needless to say they dropped the fee and I didn’t buy anyway.
I have ever had any "brand loyalty", they don't give a shit about us, only money, so I buy what ever the hell i want , makes me happy
