Totally agree, just said I’d bought something for the bike in the Black Friday deals, her first question was it for the new bike (the Zephyr, of which I haven’t told her I own half of ) then when I said the blade she said did you get a good deal, I obviously said yes without divulging The actual price
I haven't got a other half at the moment which is probably why I've 2 bedrooms and a garage rammed with the stuff

Mostly yes, somethings I will honestly forget to mention especially if they are a really low price, but then she has a horse and if you think bike owners are bad for buying bits you obviously never met a horse owner! Years ago when I trashed a bike and nearly killed myself she took me to a bike dealer and told them to sell me a bike. I was pondering giving up on bikes but she was fed up of my head going on trav stab every time one went by
Fortunately for me, myself and the Mrs have separate bank accounts! Obviously we have a joint one that we both plough some money into each month to pay the bills. But whats left over is mine and she hasn't got a clue what's going in and out of my account. I tend to smuggle stuff into the house undercover, for instance this month alone I've managed to bring home full winter gear, jacket, trousers and gloves..... Also a HJC Rpha 11 Jonas Folger Replica helmet, which was partly paid for with the sale of another HJC to @nigelrb. Went out last Saturday in all new gear and she didn't bat an eye lid. This all bearing in mind that we are days from completion of our extension and loft conversion and are haemorrhaging money on a weekly basis and lining the builders pocket! My garage has yet to be decorated but will be adorned with 30"x 20" canvas art Moto gp pictures of which I have bought eight of at the last count and they are safely stashed out of sight at work!! She's to interested in the new baby to notice anything that's going on anyway haha!! That reminds me actually.... I really must buy him something!!
Separate accounts work best mate, that way you both know bills etc will all be paid; its then your own luxuries that will be affected by whatever you buy. I have to ask, how can I have that much money too!
