What do you do with bike parts when you’ve changed them? I mean more so with mods, once you’ve swapped a mod for another one?

Do you sell them on, Keep them incase you want to change back, or throw them at the back of the garage with the 10mm sockets and forget about them?!

I’m a hoarder, will keep everything until the bike has gone and I’m sure I won’t get another then sell on. I would always hold onto original parts too as I’d like to buy a bike with the original parts of it had any mods too. What’s your preferred method of disposal o_O

Keep them as its often better to put a bike back to standard then sell the mod bits off or use them as bargaining chips

I always keep my stuff and then include them in the sale. Might not necessarily bump the sale price, but to some purchasers will make the proposition more attractive.

During the course of price negotiation, if a person wants to crunch me on price, I will negotiate those parts 'out' of the deal and sell separately, just like I've recently done with my RR4 pillion cover and Haynes Workshop Manual.

I have more often regretted stuff i’ve sold. Having had five 08+ blades now the amount of stuff i’ve Bought and sold and lost money on, if only i’d Have kept it. I must have had 15 odd aftermarket exhausts over the years ... yoshi, scorpion, taylormade, arrow, Leo vince, delcevic, and at least 6 Akras. Not a good use of money!

Definitely a keeper of removed bits and when time comes to sell just give the bits to the buyer as I generally can't be asked to put them back on.

For all round quality, sound, and fuelling it’s the Akra pipes. Others win in outright looks alone or on outrageous noise, but if you want the best all rounder it’s the akra with the s link pipe imo.

Oh I forgot that. Yes I have a racefit that I’ve never actually fitted. I knew they were loud so never got round to trying it. The quality on those are very good too.
