Some of those bids are ridiculous. A lot of the tools are cheaper new than the current bid price. Doesn’t seem much of a bargain but apex normally do get good prices for stuff in their auctions.

Always a shame when any business goes, especially motorcycle related, but there are positives that the Ron Haslam school will pick up the flack.

My wife attended one of these sessions with Css..must admit it was really well ran. The staff were brilliant and the tuition was 2 to 1 .. she gained so much from I was quite jealous.. it wasnt cheap. Having said that I treated myself to the Chris Walker( who ever he is) Race school.. at Mallory.. What an absolute pile of shit that was. £300 to ride around the track with someone pretending to monitor your improvement. The highlight was a guy called Jamie Whitham. Some kind of stand up comedian I think. He stood at the front and explained what we were supposed to do next ... funny guy. Quite short.. think he might be a jockey.

Yeah, who bids £85 for the used Halfords Tools, isn't that £120 with the buyers premium and tax? its only £140 new (prob cheaper with a trade card).

This came up on TDR. I had bidded on some tyres, gloves, visors and some other stuff, but quickly got out bidded on everything, so I'm out!

I'm going to keep an eye on the Dainese Leathers, but I imagine they will go for quite a bit.

It's pretty sad that CSS is no more - I did a few days with them and had only praise for the way it was run, and the quality of the tuition.

Apparently what finally tipped them over was the call to end early one of the days they were running back in July when they got a day of monsoon weather. Giving 30-40 people £3-400 pounds back each on top of the costs of running the operation was the final straw in the cashflow coffin. But credit to them for doing so, rather than stitching up the customers.
