Sorry to hear about your off @LRJimmy...... Glad you have got the bike all sorted mate.

I have Eazi grips on mine and as @nigelrb said I also bought some universal square sheets to cover the knee section on the tank. Plenty of heat needed to get these flexible enough to fit. They tend too lift at the edges of you're not careful with them. The adhesive is a kind of film between the pad and tank..... You'll see what I mean ;)
And yes they do have a logo but its a little more understated than R&G!!

    Thank you @Selmer50mark
Yes I was fine and Tigger is nearly all better. I should get the bar end assembly tomorrow but ive been fiddling with the crash bungs and fine tuning them. The Left side is back to straight and level but the bracket on the right needs some more work. It must have got a harder knock than I realised as there is a weld with a hairline crack. Gave up on it for tonight but will get the tools and welder on it in the morning!

Managed to get out for a couple of hours today. Wind had blown off the overnight rain, so it was the first chance I've had in 6 weeks to get in some proper riding. 'Proper' is a bit of an overstatement. Felt a bit rusty, and because I don't do the wet stuff I'm disadvantaged by not knowing the capabilities of the cold tyre/cold road combination. Still seeking my winter hack though. Been looking at Hornets and presently bidding on a 250 Nighthawk.

For now, I am happy until Daytona time:D.

Tigger is finally back to being pristine. Crash bungs perfect and bar end fitted. All in all a very lucky save. Just need the driver educated now :confused:

Ordered the Puig clear tank pad for the Daytona.

Will set to the tank with slide rules, laser levels, and 50 X magnification glasses when applying so I do not have to take 5 pages of ribbing for being half a millimetre out of whack!!;)

Looked at it, stuck it on the paddock stand, then looked at the goodies I’ve got to fit. Got a slight erection when I opened the racefit growler

Although the headers are different (so exhaust is) I believe both 08 & 14 are interchangeable?

im really not sure, I do know the exhaust is different.

I might even have to go for a completely different rad because of the build of the 14 engine.

it’s going to be interesting that’s for sure
