Ron Haslam 2020 Plans

Anyone planing the Elite this year?

i just booked 3rd June

 

I've been sitting on the fence for the past 2 years for the Haslam School. Must start thinking more seriously about it! I'm not a track guy, (but once was) but firmly believe that there is always something to learn.

 

Is the school going to be fitted out with new SC82 bikes?

 

Unfortunately you cant just jump onto the Elite. You have to do the Premier (650R) within the last two years

 

Did the 650’s this year, good fun actually

 

Ahh nice! I've done the elite three times overall now, came off in spectacular style last time

Do it, you'll love it, the print outs and the one-to-one after each session is great

 

I did the 600 course a good few years ago and binned the bike at the old hairpin. Lowsided then long slide (me and bike, but not together) along the tarmac then grass then gravel. A few bruises but nothing much. Luckily it was on last session of the day.

 

Ooh, that would be an encouragement!

Now you mention it, I wonder if they might get just a couple. With the Leon link to Honda in WSB, it would make complete sense as a promo for both Honda and the Haslams. However, given that the UK release date of the SC82 is speculated as April, that would imply that none would be available, at least in the short term.

 

Just spoken to a mate who work's at Ron's and he says they are getting the new blades for this year....8 I think.

 

Is that the same mate who originally forecast the prices of the 2020 Blades?

Would love to do it, maybe we could organise some sort of group booking for the summer?
