I like that exhaust. Is it a slip on or full system?

Sp2 is night and day better than the 2012 as it should be. As Wozza says your only here once .

Full system, fitted by dealer from new along with a Rapid Race module to sort out the fuelling, which needs to reset after 150 miles, seeing has I've only done 42 miles since purchase in September it might take a year or too..

By the way I'm not really a Honda fan but I don't think you will go far wrong on a SP2, it does have a certain panache can't figure out which panache it has, but it does have one :D:D:D:D

 sometimes I think I should have left the standard exhaust on, and just fit a akrapovic badge on it:D

For some, it's an 'acquired' taste.:D

Once you're out on it in summer, you'll be questioning why the heck you ever bought the Pani!;)

i assume you’ve not tried to get it through a track day noise test? How much noisier is it than standard at 5-6000rpm?

Some have said that at some circuits, even the 2017 - 18 standard can has failed noise tests. Once the flap opens after 3,500 rpm it has a massive roar.

:( Which circuits?! That would suck given that I've got the bike to use on track! You can't really baffle up the standard can either can you?!

I cant answer that had the full system fitted from new, all I can say is it's surprisingly discreet.
IIRC the standard can on the blades didn't pass on some trackdays db tests, but I'd never track.

edited to say Nigel beat me too it some memory that man has o_O

Castle Coombe is one track, but there again the NIMBYs ruined that for most bikes.

Just looked it up - Castle Combe is 100db. Bedford is my local, and that's 101db. Think I'll definitely have to take both bikes up the first time there - no point getting there and failing, and having to go home again

Bikes with OE silencers shouldn't even be noise tested in my opinion unless there are obvious signs of tampering.

    Just a quick update.
I took the plunge and got the SP2 yesterday, was really sad to say goodbye to my 2012 that i love so much, wish i could keep it as well.
Now for some good weather so i can get out and ride it.
Need to get an optimate for it or is there a better charger out there?

Hi there is. Honda one made by optimate just has Honda on it and is red especially for lithium battery....get one soon or I may die pretty quickly especially as we are having a cold spell....I'm sure the dealer you got the bike from will do you a deal on one ....I got mine thrown in as part of the deal...
