The distilleries all offer little tester bottles so the designated driver can also enjoy the water of life when they get home, or back to their hotel ;)

Visit as much as you can then enjoy them in the evenings :D:D

Whilst radiator and headers were off, changed the spark plugs on the '07 via the air intake route. Started on cylinder 1 and what a bitch! Rest were pretty straight forward once i'd got the hang of it (and a piece of rubber tube to get the plugs out!). Then put decat headers on, Chinese replacement rad (few subtle differences to standard which was a challenge!) and filled back up with coolant. Bike running again, touch wood no leaks! Sort out snapped off bolt in the crankcase housing tomorrow - fingers crossed it comes out with not too much hassle!

Finally getting the bike back together after several jobs. Nice warm garage with music n beers. Only pain in the rs was the excessive time it took to replace the fairing. Right hand side top section caused me to step back a few times before I finally got there.
Mates gsxr exhaust tomorrow and a new piston in a Ktm later this week. Always happy to help mates out.

Finally got the new chain guard kindly made by @mk3golfcab and some freshly machine polished titanium bolts fitted.(caliper mounting, mudguard, axle and pinch bolts)
Still so much to get as didn’t realise just how modified the last bike was compared to this bog standard bike

    Lovely bike mate.

It's a 2006, registered 2008, last of the run came in black with black frame and swingarm, has just shy of 1800 miles on it. People often moan about it not being used.

Frig the moaners and their 'bikes are to be ridden' mantra.

Those of us who prefer to buy a low-mileage bike applaud you for not running it into the ground or thrashing the ass off it! Gotta sign off here or I'll be heading for my Rant Thread!!:mad:;)

Yep ownership is part of the pleasure, the rest comes from just looking at it.

IMG_3437.JPG Nice ride out to Hunstanton yesterday. Nearly got wiped out by a pillock deciding to pull out and overtake a car when I was already overtaking him. He didnt look at all. Set me up for the rest of the ride :)
