Shipping up to Boston...

Heading to Boston for a few days. If you think people in Yaaaarkshire sound funny... I'll be hearing, "You can't paaahhk that caaaaahhhh there kid" for 5 days. Joy.

 

Funny? I can’t understand a word of it good trip mate.

 

I was watching a Boston bloke on YouTube the other day and was thinking. That can't be his real voice. He MUST be putting that on.

Oh no..they really do sound like that.

 

Some weird accents in the original Boston too, interspersed with the very occasional English too.

 

People and their weird accents huh. i got mistaken for a German in Florida talking my best Queens English?

 

I once got asked if I was Canadian because of my accent. What the hell does a Canadian sound like? I don't have an accent. It left me very confused.

I met a man from Boston today. I thought he was Irish initially but I'm not very good with accents! Weird thing is though, he was born in the same little town I live in and he has moved back to. His parents moved over there when he was 3.

He was in my industrial estate waiting for the motorbike shop to open and asked if he could come in to our reception area as it was so cold outside and got chatting about bikes etc. Really nice guy and convinced me I should look into a trail riding tour of Bulgaria.

I didnt ask why he came back to the cold north east of England but maybes he heard spygoat was going to take him out
