    Hi everybody,

I have to check valve clearance on my 2010.
It is the only thing I don't want to do by myself (maybe because of lazyness... x) )
As I will do all the rest (oil, coolant, etc etc...), and as replacing the side fairings will be a time consuming task for the mechanic (and so a costly task...), I wonder if it is possible to ride without the side fairings?
I have to do 45miles to go and 45 to go back with the bike to my favorite workshop...

    Thanks!

For those of us that ride within the laws of gravity it won’t make a blind bit of difference other than looks o_O:)

    Thanks for answers :)
I've already seen someone riding on track without farings too.
    I think I'll try :)

Just think of it like clothes, it might be a bit cold, but you'll be fine. Unless you take all of them off, then you'll be arrested.

No problems at all. Rode mine like that for a couple of weeks while fairings were being painted.
Just make sure to "protect" the loom cables from rubbing in the suspension, just in case.
