What needs to come off to drop the forks? Despise removing the fairings on the blade so hope it's just a case of calipers off and wheel out. Can you access the lower yoke easy enough?
Cheers. Need servicing this year and I'm going to ride the bike to the guy that's doing it but figured if the fairings need to come off I'd do that at home as prefer to do that stuff myself.
What work are you doing on the forks mate? It's easier than you'd think. Here's a couple of videos to get you going if you wanted a go yourself.
Cheers Charlie, will watch those tonight. Just a general service required, seals and oil. I figured I'd need some specialist tools?
No not really, the only tool you'll need to buy is a seal driver. Everything else you should have. You'll see in those videos that the amount of oil you add can be measured either by air gap or quantity. Once you've watched the videos you'll know if you want to tackle it yourself or not.
