Can anyone tell me the maximum width between the prongs of a Harris rear stand please. With R&G cotton reels on the swingarm my current Warrior stand isn't quite wide enough. I can get it on but its forcing the stand apart and obviously isn't ideal. Want to get a Harris stand but need to make sure the prongs adjust out wide enough first.

    Thanks in advance.

37cm. I had R&G bobbins on my RR7 and struggled to find a rear stand to fit without scratching the swing arm (Micron etc) but the Harris is fine :) Got Rizoma ones on now and definitely no issues :) Love these stands! Just get to lifting front or rear then geometry takes over and finishes the lift for you :) Superb quality and cant sing their praises enough.

Just measured my warrior and that's 37cm wide at its maximum width. :(

I noticed the r&g bobbin has quite an internal shoulder on it down to the actual lifting point. That’s what was causing my issue. The micron stands did my ZXR and GSXR no problem but not the blade:rolleyes: The forks were seriously close to scratching the swing arm:eek: If you were closer you could’ve tried them both out. You could order one up and test it? Keep the box intact, test it and return if it doesn’t fit?

I'm tempted to just get my warrior stand sleeved out a bit to make it wider. Still got my eye on an ABBA stand too.

I get the same issue with R&G bobbins on mine. i got one of the Ryde stands and thats barely wide enough had to bend the legs out a bit which isn't ideal and its a pain to get the hooks in the right place. I was thinking it might be easier to change the bobbins insead. There must be some stands out there, as it looks like the previous owner of mine didn't have any problems.

I have the GB racing bobbins and a Ryde rear stand which are suited perfectly.

I'd quite like them the other way round and ha e a lifter kit on the bike and the bobbins on the paddock stand but I need to look I to it. Purely for poncey aesthetics!
