Really want one, 2019 onwards with semi active Ohlins. Second hand around 13K, a lot cheaper than a Ducati V4 Streetfighter. Just need to pay some debt off then maybe winter when they're even cheaper.
https://www.wheelsmotorcycles.co.uk...-APRILIA-2019-Tuono-V4-1100-Factory/15592.htm Wheels in Peterborough are knocking them out brand new un registered for £13,995. They are a really good dealership aswell, you won't have any problem with them.
That looks a cracking deal, if they have only one it'll not be still available by the time I will be able to purchase. I don't want to part ex my blade but will be adding to the fleet.
I only mentioned the other day to @Selmer50mark that a V4 Tuono is highly likely to be my next bike when the SP goes back after 2 more years. There's no way I'm going to pay the balloon payment of 10,500 on a 3 year old bike when I could pick one of these up for similar money nearer the time! The incoming R1 will be my sports bike and the V4 will be a great addition to the garage. I like the fact it has a decent sized fairing and still looks like a sports bike but they are supposed to be really comfortable!
True. But again, you can buy Superduke 1290R 2017 for 10k. Don't think Aprillia worth 4k difference either.
All different bikes, a couple of big gruff v-twins or a fairly well built jet smooth V4. Not letting my Aprilia bias colour my view of course.
There is a letter in this weeks MCN - the "Star Letter" by Tim Wild - about the new Ducati Streetfighter. He says "....it looks like an air-con unit with a wheel at each end..." Had to laugh at that. Better off with a Speed Triple RS or a Tuono ?
Yes I saw that letter sounded like that chap quite bitter about anyone would spend that on a bike saying it was just for ceo.......probably one that's got a 3k GSXR or older sportsbike complete with matching fleece and hates electronics as has all the control he needs in his right hand....buy/ ride what you like but never slate something you have never had a go on or indeed can't afford
I suppose it's subjective, you either like something that looks finished or you like the scaffolding look.
Do either the Superduke or Tuono run hot ? (Polite way of asking whether they roast the old nuts when slow moving in summer traffic )
