On a serious note....I only wear the tops under my 1 piece...I've a dainese d core. And also a couple of Oxford summer Base layers which tbh are spot on even though they're cheaper. I wear them on the mb too and both are still in good nick despite quite a lot of wear!

I use Aldi base layer bottoms and either UA base layer or Nike Combat tops. I have different tops for wamer and colder days. Total cost of 2 sets is less than that 1 piece from SBS, and they can be machined washed.

Well worth it Marky, I have under armour and Canterbury base layer tops for cool and hot weather. You really don't need top brand ones though. I bought a long sleeved top and seperate leggings both for about a tenner each.

Keeps you cool under the leathers and also makes leathers a dam sight easier to get on. (I wear thermal ones in colder weather)

Just check before you buy it does what it says on the tin, some are climate specific...... For example, some are designed to keep you warm so you don't want them on a baking hot day.

Under Armour actually call their specific base layers 'cool gear' and 'heat gear' ;)

Another vote for Under Armour kit. Decent quality and a quick Google usually turns up some bargains.

I bought a pair of Lidl special base layer bottom and they have served me well. I wear them under my leathers just to stop the inside from sticking to me and for ease of getting on & off.
As for the top, I use normal surf rash vests, they've done the job for over 10yrs.
Don't see the point in spending £££ on dedicated items, when normal, readily available stuff will do the trick.

Personally I go for Under Armour base layers. You can feel to air getting wafted around inside your leathers. Brilliant on hot day and always a two piece as us blokes and spider-man know what it’s like haha

Hi neck base layer long sleeve top for winter /spring from Trespass cost about £20 and normal neck long sleeve for summer again from Trespass just prevents leathers sticking to your body
