Seemed like most bikes I saw out today were wannabe Rossi/Marquez. Standard of some overtakes were atrocious and one would have been saying hello to a car head on if I hadn't seen/guessed what was going on and pulled over and slowed down to create space for him to pull in to. Keep it safe people, lots of riding to be done now we are allowed out.
I've noticed a decline in pretty much all car/bike/pedestrtian standards since the lockdown, my neighbours husband got wiped out by a lady going straight through a junction looking at her sat nav on the first day he went out on his bike after lockdown . I've lost count of the number of runners, joggers, pedestrains etc who just jump out into the road infront of you without looking while trying to stay 2 meters away from people. The council are looking at introducing extra temporary one way traffic systems in town near me.
We’re not all aloud out quite yet unfortunately. I think Nicola Sturgeon will have to be able to get her hair done before anyone can enjoy themselves.
Asbourne has narrowed the road with a white line for pedestrian so they can keep 2m apart, doubt that will be the last one, helps keep them and us apart
Not just bikes either , I’ve had pedestrians walk out in front of me before the old look left and right before stepping out into the road . Not young people or very old people either . (Middle age) that should know better . And one was even a police officer
the dick have headphones in walk staring at phones never look up. I like to blip to about 10 k when I get near and shit them up. tools.
Loads of wannabe cyclists and walkers all over the roads and most of em wearing earphones. At least once per ride I've come around bends on country lanes to find groups of walkers on the wrong side of the road and actually spread out in the lane.
Went for a cycle today, no headphones I hasten to add, went round a bend to find a family out for a walk. Admittedly on the correct side as facing oncoming traffic, but walking 4 abreast with the dog almost in the centre of the road!
