    Hi Folks,
Just dropping in a line to say "Hi". Recently, I acquired a low mileage 2005 CBR1000RR and I have much to learn from you folks.
The bike I bought actually was bought in Italy and imported to the UK for trade shows for a few years and given to a gentleman who moved to the US. Eventually, it got sold and that's how it finally ended up with me. So, my bike has European roots, so to speak.

That's got to be one of the nicest RR5's I've ever seen, am I right in thinking that wasn't a 2005 paint scheme?

    Thanks.
Not entirely sure if this was factory paint since it was bought for a trade show display. I see 2 Motul ads near the tail and 2 more on the bottom.

Never seen one in that colour scheme before.
It really does suit the shape of the bike.
    I like it

UK RR5 was from memory Red/Blue/Silver and It’s more like the 2012 on colour scheme
    Euro could obviously be different

Come to think of it, the color scheme looks like the background decor picture of this thread, see the CBR on the right side. The only difference is the Motul vs Honda and the different color shocks & wheel.

By the way, does anyone know what is that Lighthouse icon sticker on the bottom left of my bike? I want to remove it but if it's related to Honda, I'll keep it.
