    Hi guys,

Found that on my bike which I just bought. Anyone knows what is this looks like added. I think ECU is restricted.

    Thanks

How weird! Looks like a capacitor or something.

Looks like a capacitor and a relay. Could be to keep the relay active if power is temporarily lost, or as a smoother on the output, or a time delay if there is a resistor in line. Would need to know how it is wired to make a more educated guess.

Surely that isn't Hondas method of restricting a bike?

It's obvious that is made in back garage, but works

looks like a DIY job! For what though?
The capacitor is too small to be used as power storage; maybe spike filter.
What is the other blue component?

my guess is a connection to an auxiliary device, heated grip or something high powered needing connection through a replay
