How to remove VTR1000 SP1 fork springs?

Thos is one for the VTR SP owners as i think there are a few of you on here.

Got the fork caps off but need to know how to remove the blue fork cap to get the spring out?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know if you can do that in situ but they look more or less the same as the ones of my rr7... you need a spring compressor that engages with the holes in the white tubes pushing them down so you can access the locknut to remove the caps.

Ahh ok, i see what you mean, should be able to rig something up to pull the plastic tubes down.

Made myself a tool and done it with forks in the bike
