Not getting on with my new HM Plus Ss Quickshifter . I have tried a few diffrent settings but still getting lots of lurch . Tried 65- 60 kill time 55-50 kill time an tried 40 kill time . Also tried diffrent sens , but not getting smooth gear change. I want a set up from mid to upper rev range . . Any advice or settings ?

Normally 60ms for mid should be in the ball park, make sure your sensitivity is not too high so some load is required to engage the gear, also make sure your peddle is in a good position as not to foul your boot in a normal riding position, change gear positively and do not roll off the throttle. Is HMSS a on?

There is no over the phone setting for sensitivity mate, gearboxes vary as do linkage and rearset setups, you need to watch the LCD and feel and see where it shows SHIFT, it should show it just after it clunks into gear without the engine running that is often a good start. Fine tuning can still be required sometimes.

Sorry to start this off again but I have recently got a Plus SS also on a 06 RR and I feel that I need to place a bit more force to the gear lever than I would like but no lurching.
Can I have some ideas what to do please Arthur and everyone
