I’ve got one on my MT10 - What is the gimmick supposed to be?

I got one of those with a Supersprox sprocket and a DID ZVMX chain because the stock setup had come to the end of its life.

Not that I was particularly paying attention, but I can’t tell any difference between the performance of the bike from stock to the new set up.

Certainly appear to be getting more miles out of the new setup. 27k miles out of the stock setup and it was really on its last legs by then. Currently on 26k Miles with the new setup and still going strong.

At 20k on the stock setup. I was having to tighten the chain every 1-2k miles. The current setup is still lasting from service to service (every 6k Miles)

The rubber is standard on OEM. If I can't get hold of one I sometimes use a Ognibene.
All the advantages are quite valid. Ognibene also make one for the rear if they were readily available I'd get one too.
