Anyone had either the 800 or 1090? Any issues with them to look for? Mates looking at these 2 but he's not has an mv before....cheers

I do not know anything about them, but I do have a story about one..... In 2018 I was staying in a cheap Hotel in Spain, out of town somewhere in the hills near Barcelona - I had gone there to watch the MotoGP Catalunya. Anyway, there was one other bike parked there at the Hotel - a GB reg Brutale - like that one. I did not see a rider get on or off it, so not sure who owned it. But there it was . There were a few people staying in the Hotel, including an ageing Hippy with long hair - always drinking lots with his food - I thought he was there to smoke pot. Then one morning I heard the amazing sound as the Brutale was fired up and gently revved to warm it up. I quickly went outside to see and it was the Hippy - it was his bike. That evening I got talking to him at dinner and he had been into MV Augustas since the Mike Hailwood days How cool was that. Bike sounded awesome. I don't think there was much in the way of baffles in the thing - sounded ace. I hope this helps
guy I worked with had the 800. starter went rectifier went dash failed all within first 4 months . he missed whole summer waiting for parts and no dealer did not give him a loan bike.it look good sounded good but he never trusted it . would not com on any rides next year further that 30 miles from home . he sold it half way through that summer and bought a speed triple which he loves and still has.
