hi guys just bought this a few weeks ago and absolutely love it, was heading for a big bang R1 but after sitting on another blade it felt just like my 600rr so i went for the fireblade.
only ridden it once before the battery died on me while riding so have replaced that and given it a good clean up then fitted a few r&g bobbins and orange hel lines.
wanting to do a few little things like a ecu flash, air filter, lambda sensor delete, wavy discs and sbs pads and look into some decent headlight bulbs but coming off a 600rr it feel so nice having a bike where i dont have to drop it a gear half the time!!
oh and lots of carbon bits too.

    Bike looks amazing. Welcome.

In terms of the wheel.. perhaps get it re-coated when you next need a new tyre for it?

Cheers pal, yes the plans to possibly strip them down over winter and get a local shop to powder coat them and then rebuild with new bearings and wavy discs and sbs pads!

Hi and Welcome to the forum!

When buying carbon, I couldn't find a company that sold all the covers I wanted, so ended up buying bits from different companies, but mostly from USA. Carbon King stuff is exceptional quality.

Tekarbon and Z4 from USA are my recommendations.

    Nice bike btw.

(now of to see if I can find this colour scheme and swap my fairings out :D)

Thanks pal I will google them now as I’m about to start hunting carbon bits, just can’t decide whether to go normal carbon or the carbon weave look!
