I bought this suit secondhand locally a couple of weeks ago. It is used but has no scrapes or significant marks at all, having been one of three suits owned by the prior owner. It is the usual Dainese nice quality item but very unfortunately just too tight for me. I thought it would fit, as I have an RST one piece in the same size but seems just slightly smaller.
A nicely perforated suit, that would make a nice warmer day ride suit, and in the usual Dainese quality leather it is really surprising how much lighter this suit is compared to my same-size RST.
It, interestingly came with aluminium shoulder protectors but no soft internal shoulder protectors, which surprised me, but I have found confirming reviews of this omission since it arrived. So, I bought a set of Dainese Shoulder Armour pads separately and I will include these with a suitable length of velcro which could be tacked in place to retain them in a suitable position relative to the new owners shoulder width.
Looking for £275, the price I paid, and I will include the shoulder protectors too & a Dainese Coverall I have from a prior suit. P&P will be about £18 to a UK Mainland Address unless you are close to Pembrokeshire.
    Any questions please ask. 2.jpg 3.jpg 4.jpg 5.jpg 6.jpg 7.jpg 8.jpg

    No takers?

If anyone interested at £280 total, ie. including P&P within UK Mainland, drop me a conversation note. Nice suit, shame to have it doing wardrobe durability.
Great trackday or warm day riding suit. Broken in and ready to go......

Decided to keep it due to no interest here and receiving daft offers only via Ebay prompted me to retry it on today. Actually really comfy when seated on bike.
And after all, who's got too much motorcycle kit, or prepared to admit it anyway? Will give it a run out next season as feel will make a good summer day suit.
And always had soft spot for Dainese stuff.

I had a Dainese Avro 2 piece until recently, still have an Astars 2 piece Motegi. Bought the 1 piece Dainese after I bought an RST 1 piece which is really comfy but heavy!!. Then decided three suits probably one too many so decided to keep the RST and Astars. But no-one except you and I thought £280 posted was a bargain as had no enquiries or interest on forum or ebay. So unless there's a late enquiry tomorrow will plan to add some foam to leg and arm armour -- I'm a EU52 size but in a one piece need a 54 for length, so just add a foam thickener to the armour to guarantee no rotation. Simples!! Mike

I'm on the lookout for a two piece suit for riding to work, and quite fancy wearing the jacket without the bike occasionally. just dont want to spend the money on a new one for a spare.

I'm selling my Laguna Seca 4 on ebay because its too big now, but not had much interest either tbh. I think most ppl just think dainese stuff is too expensive.

Dainese Avro 2 piece the jacket does not fit well without trousers, as short, and additionally they use a much bigger joining zip than on their separate jackets & trousers. They will tell you they do not design two pieces to mix and match with normal range.
The Astars is better, long enough to wear with other trousers -- I wear my Astars jacket with some Dainese textiles using a joiner zip I made up specially to match both. I've had lots & lots of kit over time. In my opinion Dainese and Astars have an indefinable quality feel even though at lower end they have to compete on price. My new RST bought new last winter is nicely made, well certified as a PPE suit etc. but very heavy indeed betraying the poorer quality of it's leather. It is competive with the Dainese on features, cert etc., certainly on price but just not quite the same product. But we each have to decide for ourselves. Laguna Suit is nice. Someone will go for it, just need one......

i hope so, its a shame to have it hanging here unused, i only wore it for a year too. I have some RST gear, that is also miles too big, i always thought it was decent stuff, but it is heavy, I never liked how the zip doesnt come all the way round at the front, I always had a cold wind up my front, part of the reason i went for one piece suits after that

I fancied it Mike, and its a bargain but just worried about the size. Think I need to lose 1.5st before I can get in a dainese 54 one piece.

Well, I'm 6'1" max, 12.5 stone slim build and approx 40" chest & max 34 waist. The 54 is a comfort fit for me as at 72 I don't need a suit that constrains my ability to get feet up onto pegs in any way. Seat raised and pegs lowered already. I think a 52 would be race fit for me, so never going to be. BUT in 2 piece I take either a 52L from Astars or a 104 (52 in 54 length) from Dainese and both quite roomy, so sizing differs from one to two piece a bit, and also depending on style/cut of suit. My 54 RST One piece more roomy than the 54 Dainese, which is why I had decided to sell on the D suit. But with no takers decided to keep it after aborted attempt to buy an Astars Tech Air 5 airbag chronicled in another thread. Yes, sizing is a nightmare..... If buying new I look for free returns (Get Geared in uk, Motostorm in Italy) and if used, accept will loose a bit if have to sell on. And it passes the long dark days of winter.....Mike

That has to be right answer, ideally a few styles too even if top end ones are unaffordable.

I think a Dainese dealer near SW Wales is possibly in Bristol!!

If one's weight or build changes thru time always wise to go back to basics rather than triangulate from current kit.

Hope it is fruitful, maybe you'll find a black Friday deal you cannot refuse. I laughed at the Motorcycle Live offer from Mega Superstore today, looked remarkably the same as offer they had on all last week anyway!!

probably right, im trying to keep my weight down, but at the same time, get some definition, but cant imagine for a moment that im gonna end up like that bloke whose name i cant spell.

being incredibly vain, it will be down to the look, but ill want the armour in it, not sure if its lacking in the cheaper suits. Not really sure why i went for two Laguna Seca 4 suits, well, the second was down to the amazing colour combo, and the excuse was my size
