Electrical connectors

    Anyone else struggle to undo some of the wiring connectors. some are really tight.
    wondering if there’s a pliers type of tool to make it easier.

    Jeeez.......just threaten them with that lot and they’ll jump apart on their own lol. Plasters at the ready.

    I found the electrical connectors that were difficult to remove on my bike all had some degree of corrision on them once I managed to free them, I used electrical cleaner and WD40 but must admit it did take some force to get the large ones on the main loom seperated.

    Many on the connectors have lock tabs that need levering first

    That’s what I struggle with trying to press them and undo

    you're right, they aren't easy at all. Sometimes the hardest part is working out where to find the locking tab, then how it releases. A prime example is the connector to the flapper motor under the seat on a 2018 bike.

    I give them a light spray with WD40 first just to help pull them apart
