Yeah for me it was a case of popping the coil back in. Since then it’s been faultless.

Just fitted mine and I have a misfire. Can't wait to take it all apart again.
No one mentioned you need a degree in bodywork before buying the bike either.

This QS better be worth it.

Just found the little issue. The small pipe had come off of the MAF sensor. ‍♂️
    Hopefully an easy fix.

It was my first introduction to the world under the air-box and I was rather scared I was going to loose track and never get it all back together but OMG it is so worth it.
A gear change under power just becomes like an edited video where the change has been snipped out. You were in one gear and then, suddenly, you are in the next.

Good choice with the Translogic, great bit of kit. Best on the market in my opinion. You’ll love the noise it makes when shifting... can only be described as a beautiful burble haha! Good luck.

I can't wait pal. I haven't even ridden the bike yet. The QS will be a sweet little touch.

It will be a weapon mate I’ve not ridden mine yet either I’m dying to get on it!
Mate of mine had an 09 and went up 2 teeth on the rear sprocket.. he said it transformed it again combined with the QS turned it into a right animal... bit of food for thought LOL

I think I'm still on stock gearing with a 42 on the rear. Going +2 & -1 seems a bit savage though, loves a wheelie does he?

New chain and sprockets are next on the list.
Not sure which chain to go for, probably a DID gold or something similar.

He didn’t change the front just a couple up on the rear.. it was nice to be fair, that’s what I’ll end up doing.

I've never understood changing off stock sprockets.. This is a CBR1000 we are talking about.
The problem is keeping the front end on the deck.

I've gone -1 on front and +1 on rear and I cant say I have a problem with front wheel coming up.
It will also depend with length of chain as if you change chain length to suit sprockets you can keep or lengthen wheelbase as well.

I'm -1 +2 with quick action throttle. Livens it up but it's not a total handful. Should come out of the factory like this imo.

Does that configuration need a change in chain length or can you keep it standard?

This is what I bought along with a supersprox rear sprocket. Although just seen from looking back through emails this was a 43 tooth so -1 +1? Think my mate gave me a 44tooth renthal but never used it in the end. Got it in the garage if anyone can make use of it.

I didn't fit them so dont know if the chain needed to be shortened or anything? Think 116 links is standard so shouldn't have?
