Is it still stupidly busy down there at the minute? I've got to go to the Glades shopping centre in Bromley next week and normally hate driving into London. Hoping it's nice and quiet for a change!

My 2p (and probably completely worthless as I come from the opposite direction into Central)

It's not as busy as it was pre pandemic, but still busier than the counties and I still wouldnt want to drive in. There's also neverending road works going on and I lose count of the amount of closures/diversions/digging up of the road on my route in which all adds to traffic/congestion.

    In a nutshell, still miserable!

That's more or less my manor; as mentioned above, it's not as busy as pre-lockdown, but there's loads of f***ers still out there mooching about.

    ...should be OK though [IMG]

depends on the time of day and where exactly your going. You will find you will get to your destination quicker than pre lockdown, just dodge the normal rush hour times. Roads works are everywhere

Wouldn’t worry tutuk, the way you will come you won’t even see London, A1M, M11, M25, A20, bingo, from the QE2 bridge your only 30 mins max with normal traffic, and by lunchtime you shouldn’t see many issues, unless there’s accidents etc.
If your leaving around 2 ish, you’ll be back through the tunnel and into the badlands of Essexshire before 3 and then it’s uphill all the way to Geordiesville.

Long way to come for a shopping trip mate, but enjoy !

    Cheers.

I'm there to fix a couple of car park signs for a shopping centre which in guessing will be mostly closed at the minute. Travel the length of the country to replace 2 little modules which we could post down for an engineer to install but they wont entertain it o_O Day out of the office though so I'm not complaining too much :p

I'm back and thankfully they had locked the doors to access the control room thing where you normally have to sign in so I saved about 45 minutes not signing in and explain why I'm there even though they requested I come down o_O

Looking at one of the signs on the main entrance and there was a 2017 shape blade pull up at the lights!
