    Hi All
After some advice on turning the ABS light off on my 14 plate. I have read and followed the description On how to do it on the previously posted thread but have had no joy the light is still on.
Is there anyone on here that have successfully done it recently that can help.
Are Colin BR and Dave Dunlop still members on here as they gave advice on the thread that I read. If you are guys any info would be great.

    cheers

Getting the light to go out ended up being a right headache! From what I recall it picked up it’s power source from part of the circuitry from inside the clocks. In the end we ran a jumper wire to trick the ABS light into thinking it was still seeing 5volts to run it’s diagnostics before going out. Unfortunately I didn’t keep any of that information be so long ago. Perhaps Colin BR might be able to help.

Ok thanks Dave hopefully I can get it sorted. I’m not very good on the electric side of things.

Yeah it baffled me for a while, but a friend of mine who’s a complete electrical guru worked it out. Will try and tap him up to see if he remembers.... my main point of interest was just removing the crappy system and saving loads of weight.

    My stupidity...

The orange & green wire in the loom that plugs into your clocks needs to be cut and the end coming out of the multiblock needs to go to earth I used the horn wire (green) I took a little bit of the sleeving off and soldered onto it. I previously soldered the wrong end on that’s why it didn’t work.. one of my stupid moments.. the lose end that I cut orange & green just heat shrink it and tape it back to the loom out the way nice and neat.
turn the key no light Bingo super chuffed.
