When I took my 2015 blade out last week for a good few hours, everytime I stopped for a break then went to start it up 5-10 mins later it almost needed a little throttle to get it fired although it did fire without it but needed spinning over longer.
I’ve fitted a pc5 and unplugged and blanked the o2 sensor, would this be why it needs a tad throttle to fire up quicker?

Just a thought, but were you running on fresh fuel or a tank that was last filled before winter? On my blade, old fuel can sometimes make it hard to start without holding the throttle open. That's why I now fill up with Esso high octane before hibernation - it seems to decay less due to higher starting octane and no ethanol.

hi pal it was my second tankful since winter hibernation so I think it would have been ok and I filled it up with the posher stuff too!!
It will start without throttle but just a tad helps it fire up first turn over!

Maybe try resetting the ecu. As the o2 sensor is disconnected, there could be data in there conflicting with the current conditions.

    Disconnect battery for ten minutes
    Reconnect battery
    Start bike without throttle
Wait for fan to kick in
    Hit the kill switch
    Turn the key off
