    Hi there, This is the 1st time I,ve actually joined a forum. Should have done it years ago , but hey, its done now. Love to talk about the lack of choice on huggers for the 08 ,Blade. Are they having design problems?. Looking for one with an integrated chain guard but don,t fancy the Ermax, a bit too old fashioned. I had one that looked exactly the same on my ,95 ,Blade back in the day. Really don,t want to be buying from the States if its at all avoidable. Too much hassle , too much tax!!

    Interesting tag. Are you about to retire or do you work for Flymo?

    You've picked a good forum to start, although if you love to talk about huggers exclusively may I suggest you get out a bit more.

    We're getting quite a membership from across the water now so you're in some good company.

    Oh, by the way you're about to get nagged about posting pictures of your bike.

    Hi there and welcome to the forum always good to have a new member, always good to see some pics of the bike :)

    Some of us here are lucky enough to have a very sexy machined chain guard made by our very own ColinBR

    http://1000rr.co.uk/mods-upgrades-accessories-products/2896.htm he is doing a second batch now but has probably got them all accounted for this time

    but it depends on if you want full coverage of the chain or not there are some nice carbon chain guards available, not sure who makes them (akrapovic ?), as for huggers I got the HRC one for my bike when I bought it, looked massive so put the OE black plastic one on which I like, but will get one of the akrapovic carbon huggers (like OE) as soon as funds allow.

    Hi there GV welcome to the forum . Can't say I've ever seen a hugger + chainguard combo for the Blade

    Separate ones yes .. loads of em ......... lots of choice
