Goddamn that fucking sucks. Everything has gone through the roof since COVID. Once again the common man loses and the fat cunts win.

It's only two quid a gallon over here for fuel but all my bikes are in England!!

Read a news report about the Middle Eastern arguments between Emirates and Saudi pushing the price up and making prices unstable. Funny they always make them unstable upwards innit.

it was 99.9p only in april 2020 !
I really would like to know how representative BOE inflation figures are.
Here are costs of essentials that affect my daily life & standard of living:

coucil tax 5% or more /year
    motorvehicle insurance 10%or more /year
Home insurance 10% or more /year
    heat & light 10~25% /year
    petrol 10~ sky is the limit% /year
    food 10% or more /year
From my experience since I was old enough to pay bill, the UK is a 10% inflation country and take the official figures with a fistful of salt:D

can't argue with that on you
I understand the non supermarket retailers make an average of 2~4 pence/L and their margines are very low. They rely on other services to make a living

I've got 2 cars and 2 bikes all on separate policies with max no claims already achieved and so far everyone has been cheaper than last year.
House insurance has gone down very slightly too.
Yes food up, energy up but overall for my household the official inflation rate is probably about right.
Petrol is piss taking at present and just the oil producers looking to claim.back lost earnings from last year.

Its always costs loads compared to wages, my old grandad used to say (years ago when i was a kid) if you Smoke, drink, drive a car and ride a bike you shouldn't have to pay income tax, as we pay enough bloody tax already, so i guess its always been a problem...

Just renewed my blade 69plate sp and £241 last year and £191 this year all details the same with same underwriter and max ncd.
Mind just upgraded my car and I now have that privilege of paying the Extra £335 road tax, so £490 fir 12 months road tax is very inflationary!
