Anyone else get a clunkinh noise from front when hitting certain bumps. I had suspenaion serviced a few months ago and took it back wirh clunking. Said it might be when topping out as i said seemed ro do it when wheel dropped off a kerb or a hole .
Iys stl doing it and i think is doing it on bu.ps as well and ots driving me mad.
Doesnt do it if you hold brake on and bounce the front up and down.
    Headstock seems ok.
    Bikes a 2015 cbr1000rr with 10400 miles on clock.
    Anyone got any ideas?

    Cheers Lucas

More likely the big piston forks if the headstock is sound. I always get a clunk from mine when I first set off from home - which I think relates to pulling it up and off/out of the front wheel chock stand its kept in. Rarely get any clunk after that whilst out and about.

Can be the noise from the floating disks. If you grab one and give it a wiggle it should move freely, but not excessively. Probably why it stops when the brake's on.

Its more going down bumps mate.
I tightened headstock up aittle bit but its till doing it , driving nuts.
Think it may be something behind xlocks banging but not sure

All the recent blades I’ve had have done it. First few times went to the dealer and told nothing abnormal. Been discussed here a few time’s and seems they all go it.

Yes mine does it aswell. I notice it most when on the brakes pulling up to a stop at a junction.
