This is a 'raised' rider seat I made for my, now sold, 2017 Fireblade, so it is suitable for any 2017-2019 model. I wanted to preserve the periphery of the seat and it's relationship to tank and subframe etc.. It was done by adding a suitably shaped 2" piece of single density foam onto the central areas of the OEM foam seat base (sloping down to the front edge by the tank) and then a 8mm soft foam stretched over the entire seat base before then refitting the OEM seat cover. I think it probably gives a 35-40mm increase in seat height when sitting on the bike (and was used by me in combination with 1" lowered rider's footpegs. It seemed comfy enough to me in use but never did a LONG day on the bike. Thought I would offer it for sale here before putting it on ebay. I know there have been a number of threads on the forum by tall riders seeking improved ergonomics on the bike, well this was my improvement. Any one interested? Offers? Any questions please ask. Sorry, Mark, no interest to return to business after 20 years retired. In truth, not tough to do. I bought a slab of 2" foam, carved it to a shape that would preserve the shape at tank and access to pillion lock and then stick lightly to existing pad (I used double sided carpet tape). then I covered all over with a very thin foam 10mm but highly compressive all over using stuck around edge with screwfix contact adhesive spray. Then with normal diy stapler & staples slowly eased the OEM cover back on. Worked fine. Mike
