That's awesome, the ideas Eric Buell put into the bike were amazing ie rim mounted discs, oil in the swing arm, fuel in the frame were proper out of the box - surprised this hasn't been progressed. The first bike I testdrove after passing was a firebolt, the torque and noise was amazing. Cant remember the exhaust but it was the super noisey one, my neighbours would have had a fit! Nearly stacked it on the first proper corner as it was my first non upright bike, bugger just wouldn't turn. Dealer recommended try the XB lightning I was sold!. Unfortunately after reading up on the reliability of using the million year old harley lump opted to buy a boring hornet instead regret it to this day!
Am I right that Erik Buell has distanced himself from this enterprise but he doesn't own the name any more?
