new office, new routine. Took it easy on my first commute since lock down, and what do i do, drop the bike.

didn’t even think it was a bad idea to put my side stand down on a air vent grate. Luckily no damage! And yes you may hear a lot of fuel being split into the carpark below!

a little embarrassing having to go see the facility manager in a new building to say, yeah you dont know me but there is a lot fuel split at the entrance of one of the car park lifts, please can you sort it out.

Spoke to security who said it should all be on camera too.

Luckily the bungs took it all though they were barely marked.

My other worry too was I was on reserve, losing an unknown amount of fuel wasn'r sure if I'd make it to the petrol station on the way back!

My office is in covent garden, london and made it to a station in Hammersmith just as the bike began to sputter!

London, OMG, what a place to scoot around on a bike when you've no idea where your going.
Ive been a few times with work which to be fair, having not been in over 20 years was an eye opener, much more relaxed and sociable than i thought it'd be, hell of of a lot of bikes though.

@Slick only pride hurt mate, pissed myself watching it though, reminded me of pulling up on my drive, head full of a million things to do and stepped off the Blade, and was laying trapped under it wondering how I’d got there in the first place. Finally dawned I’d never even attempted to use the side stand, right embarrassing having to wait for a neighbour appear to Iift it up a bit so a I could wiggle my leg about and free myself.
