    79AA2B8C-5C78-4944-B332-F09118DE3F48.jpeg Hi guys,

I have finally plucked up the courage to buy my blade (previous 600rr rider).

Now I’m on a real toy, I really want to get a one piece suit but I’m struggling. I have a 32 inch waist but a 47 inch chest. I had my heart set on a Held suit but to get one that fits my chest means it’s very loose everywhere else.

Can anyone recommend manufacturer that builds suits for people that go to the gym?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

If you buy a two piece it's relatively easy to mix and match but for a one piece you'll probably need to go for made to measure. I have a 32 waist and 42 chest and found the same problems, although less than yours. I have a MJK suit made in Holland from years ago and it fits like a glove but not sure you can still get them. Otherwise it's into the more well known made to measures - Hideout is a great one but £££. Also some makes do alterations but not sure if they'd cover the difference you're looking for.

Youll will have to get them made to fit you, DRC leathers are well known. You won't get an off the shelf 1 piece leather outfit with a 32inch waist and a 47inch chest.

Welcome bike looks really good, you've been working out hard to get I admire your efforts as other have suggested a 2 piece has got to be the route to go down certainly a lot cheaper than made to measure.

Thanks for all your fast responses. Sounds like made to measure is the way to go.

Currently have a Dianese super speed jacket, zipped to dianese Missano bottoms. To a certain extent, I struggle with two piece as they’re too loose around to waist but too tight on my legs/arse but overall fit is okay. I wanted to extra protection a one piece gives you.

I’ll check out the options mentioned above, if anyone knows any good makers around the Midlands, a reference would be appreciated.

Give MCA Leicester a call,0116 262 4983, it's Dean Ellisons shop, they will give you some advice to leather manufacturers in the Midlands area.

Yep, sounds like you're going to struggle with those measurements, nearly all one piece leathers off the peg are a snug fit everywhere, legs, arms, waist and chest! But then again they are supposed to be tight to keep the armour in place.

I think the easiest option for you would be buy say a XXL maybe even a XXXL to fit your chest and get the legs, arms and waist taken in.

I know a great company called Andell Leathers in Bolton that would do this and make a great job of it. I'm sure there is someone more local to you though, quick Google search should help.

Failing that you may want to drop the bench presses and get yourself a pigeon chest like me!!;):D

I struggle around the midriff as I have more of a Dad bod as I like to call it, but I just slide a chest protector under my leathers to even things out a bit :D:D:D:D

    Enjoy the new bike!!

Hideout leathers are fantastic quality and Kate who owns the company is lovely to deal with.

The ladies at hideout were real good to me. I approached them for taking in my bespoke leathers but because it was a 7-stone weight loss job it was going to cost more than a new set of leathers. Luckily these days I'm closer to 'normal' sizing, but could still use their help a bit on my new suit :)
