Off to Caddy on the 3rd of May, can't wait to return with better gearing, just hoping I don't flip it over the mountain with 15f 44r/46r...

I’m heading down for the 3rd and 4th. Ive run 15 front 44 rear, and it’s great fun.

Spot on, gives me a bit of confidence, I've got cartagena first so I'll see if I like it at 15f 46r, I have a 44 and 45 to swap in if not, I'm in middle at cadwell, probably see you there!

I haven’t done Cadwell in the last 2 years.
I’m in the advanced group. Will be running a BMW. Hopefully it’s going to be sunny. EB93A950-1FB9-494D-B2E1-066CA4A8B147.jpeg

I'm thinking about booking the 3rd at Cadwell, I'll probably play it safe in the lower group given that it would be my 2nd ever trackday on a bike.
It would be great to bump into forum members on the day.

Now that is a serious machine, I'll certainly notice that yeah hopefully, I've just sold my wets, can't be on with wet TDs, all the risk for no reward

I'd say that would be wise, cadwell seems to be quite a fast paced lower group from memory of the novice group days! Aye we will be having a couple of beers and camping night before pop over if you are about

I’ll b arriving the night before. It’s only 6hrs to get down to Caldwell for me. So might see you for a beer.

    Ah nice.
Do you have to pay extra for camping?

The last time I was there I never paid. But I have paid £10 in the past, but that was when they had a security guard. If you offload your bike and leave outside, make sure you secure it. There has been reported thiefts over the years.
    C u soon.

I was there 3 times last year and didn't have to pay for camping, and there was a security guard. I wouldn't worry too much about bikes getting stolen so much now, they ask your name on the way in and then they drive round everytime someone has come in, like after 10mins of them arriving. Wakes you up but better than your bike being stolen
